The students will learn to identify all the different applied research elements – including the key problems, questions, methods, and techniques of data collection and analysis to meet the research goals. They will also identify a clear set of actionable steps to guide the applied research process by using relevant research tools and information. In addition, the outline for the research projects aligned to the requirements of UPSE will be analyzed and described with the aim of following and taking it as a reference in their research project. Finally, once they have a solid idea of the research process, the students will start working on their preliminary research project, which will be the basis as their starting point to develop their research work to reach their master's degree.
